Call for Introduction Books 

 

Dear Authors, 

 

The Introduction Book Series is open to new proposals! This series aims to develop a comprehensive collection of introductory books across various academic fields, enhancing our educational resources and showcasing the high education standards at the International Balkan University. 

 

Opportunity for Contribution: 

We invite scholars and educators to propose concepts for introductory books that align with their expertise and the academic needs of their fields. We welcome proposals from the following faculties: 

 

-Economics and Administrative Sciences 

-Engineering 

-Law 

-Art and Design 

-Education 

-Humanities and Social Sciences 

-Dental Medicine 

 

The Introduction Book Series seeks to provide foundational knowledge, incorporate innovative teaching methods, and offer contemporary perspectives. These books will enrich academic experience and highlight the unique strengths of the International Balkan University. 

 

Submission Process: 

Interested authors are encouraged to submit their Book Proposals by clicking on the Submit button on the ibupress.com website by 1 November 2025. Detailed guidelines on submission requirements, important dates, formatting instructions, and other relevant information can be found on our website.

 

Collaboration: 

All academicians, whether affiliated with the International Balkan University or other institutions, are invited to participate in this textbook series. Authors can also opt to use a co-editor format, working collaboratively with co-authors.

Text Formatting and Style Guidelines 

Citation Style: Adhere to the latest edition of APA7th (American Psychological Association) style for citations and references.  

Formatting: Use Times New Roman 12-point font with 1.5 line spacing.  

Margins: Set margins to 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides.  

Page Numbers: Number pages consecutively starting with the title page.  

Headings: Capitalise all words with no capitals on articles, prepositions, and conjunctions of four or less characters. Numerate the different level of headings (e.g. 1.; 1.1.; 1.1.1.)

Figures and Tables: Number and title figures and tables according to APA style, placing them within the text. 

Footnotes: Minimize footnotes, using them for additional information or clarification, not citations.  

Proofreading: Ensure manuscripts are free of grammatical and typographical errors. 

Chapters: Organise your proposal in 12 Chapters.

Word Count of the Book: 40,000-60,000 words.

 

The published books will be available at the EBSCO and JSTOR platforms, reaching a worldwide academic audience.
