Balkan University Press and Balkan Research Center launch the Balkan Research Journal

Balkan University Press in collaboration with Balkan Research Center are launching Volume 1 Issue 1 of our Balkan Research Journal (BRJ) in November 2024. We therefore, welcome the submission of papers that are related to the subject areas covered by the journal.

The Balkan Research Journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the exploration, analysis, and dissemination of knowledge regarding the complex and multifaceted region of the Balkans. As an interdisciplinary journal, the Balkan Research Journal strives to encourage interdisciplinary research that spans various fields such as history, anthropology, political science, economics, linguistics, and cultural studies, fostering a holistic understanding of the Balkan region.

We invite scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts to join us in this intellectual journey, contributing to a vibrant academic community dedicated to unravelling the complexities and celebrating the richness of the Balkan region.

We invite original and innovative submissions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the fields mentioned above, offering insights into the latest trends, challenges, and future directions.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS - IMPORTANT DATES:

Paper submission opens: 4th June 2024

Paper submission deadline: 31st July 2024 (first call) and 1st October 2024 (second call)

Date of publishing: November 2024

Note: Accepted papers will be published within one-month time of the submission deadline.
