Biography
Sezen Ismail started her teaching career in 2004 right after she completed her bachelor degree at the Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus. She completed her Master and PhD studies in comparative literature at the State University of St. Cyril and Methodius in North Macedonia. Today she is an Assistant Professor at the International Balkan University in Skopje, North Macedonia, where she teaches Anglo-American literature, and supervises undergraduate and master thesis in the field of literature and education. Her research interest focuses on literary theories, feminist and post-colonial criticism, identity studies. Also, she has done extensive research on incorporating literature in the English language classroom. She has published numerous articles and book chapters on these topics.
